The positive impact
World Bank estimates suggest that during 2022, the flow of remittances will increase by 4.2%. It would be equivalent to a figure close to 630 million dollars.
The conflict in Ukraine would be partly responsible for this increase. For the multilateral financial entity analysts, sending money to this Eastern European nation will increase by more than 20% by the end of the year.

The challenge proposed by the UN is to achieve total digitization in sending family remittances. It would mean a decrease in the costs of these operations and greater inclusion.
